The core idea was to transform a specialized media publisher into the digital age to extend the offline product portfolio to adjacent digital products.
We led the digital transformation of the company and launched the corporate website, the specialized media content portal with a dedicated CME credit certification system, the mobile apps (Android/iOS) and all underlying email marketing, billing and CRM solutions needed. The launch of the platform within 4 month was a full success – the digital availability of the content and especially the CME tests delivered a return on investment of the full transformation cost within 3 months after launch!
The digital exposure of the products also stimulated offline sales, which proofs the multichannel behavior of their customers. In addition the project was awarded with a spot on Best of Swiss Web’s shortlist for digital transformation. After a successful commercial turnaround the involvement ended with a trade sale to another publisher for further synergy gains.
